Our client, a large mortgage brokerage with an established presence in the Irish financial services market, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Life & Pensions Advisor to join its growing team based in the IFSC, Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, commercially minded advisor who wants to build on their existing experience, develop long-term client relationships and play an important role in the continued growth of an established financial services business.

With access to an established mortgage customer base and opportunities to develop relationships across the wider business, the successful candidate will be well positioned to identify new opportunities, deliver quality financial advice and grow their portfolio.

The Opportunity

This is more than a traditional advisory position. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful client relationships, identify opportunities across life assurance, pensions and protection, and help customers make informed decisions about their financial futures.

Working alongside colleagues across the wider brokerage, you will benefit from opportunities to develop business through referrals, existing client relationships and new business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice across life assurance, pensions, income protection, serious illness cover and wider protection solutions.
• Conduct detailed client reviews and fact-finding meetings to understand individual financial circumstances and objectives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing client arrangements and recommend appropriate financial planning solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, delivering an exceptional standard of service.
• Build a sustainable pipeline of new business through referrals, networking, client introductions and internal cross-referral opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with mortgage advisors and other colleagues to identify opportunities to support clients across their broader financial needs.
• Manage the end-to-end advisory process, from initial consultation and recommendations through to application, completion and ongoing reviews.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all advice and recommendations meet Central Bank of Ireland regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Life & Pensions function.

What We’re Looking For

We are keen to speak with experienced Life & Pensions Advisors who combine strong technical knowledge with a genuine passion for client relationships and business development.

Ideally, you will have:

• A full QFA qualification.
• Several years’ experience in a Life & Pensions advisory role, ideally within a brokerage or financial services environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, life assurance, income protection, serious illness cover and retirement planning.
• A proven ability to develop client relationships, identify opportunities and generate new business.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• A professional, consultative approach, with the ability to explain financial products and recommendations clearly.
• Strong commercial awareness and the motivation to contribute to the growth of the wider business.
• A commitment to regulatory compliance, ongoing professional development and delivering positive client outcomes.
