The Role:

Engage with customers to help prevent and reduce loan arrears.

Agree practical repayment plans with clients experiencing financial difficulty.

Review arrears cases and help determine the most appropriate next steps.

Keep accurate and timely records across internal systems and trackers.

Handle member queries clearly, fairly and professionally.

Work with external solicitors and attend court where required.

Contribute to regular team and case-review meetings.

Support wider business initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership.
The Candidate:

You have around three year’s experience in credit control, arrears management or a similar financial services role.

You hold a relevant QFA qualification, or are working towards completion in 2026 or early 2027, and ideally have knowledge of MARP and personal insolvency legislation.

You’re a confident communicator who can manage sensitive conversations, prioritise effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues.
