Finance Graduate – Accounts Assistant

I’m working with a growing and well-established business that is looking to add a Finance Graduate to their finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Finance, Accounting, Business or related graduate looking to take their first step into a career in finance.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, reporting and month-end, while working alongside an experienced finance team.

The Role

You’ll support the wider finance function across areas including:

• Processing supplier invoices and payments
• Raising customer invoices and credit notes
• Allocating and posting customer receipts
• Assisting with bank and account reconciliations
• Supporting credit control and resolving account queries
• Assisting with month-end processes
• Maintaining accurate finance records
• Preparing reports and analysing financial information
• Providing general support to the wider finance team
• Learning and developing across different areas of the finance function

What We’re Looking For

• A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable working with Excel and interested in developing your systems knowledge
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Genuine interest in building a long-term career in finance
• Previous accountancy or finance internship experience would be a strong advantage
