You will work directly with clients, providing practical financial guidance across areas such as pensions, financial planning, protection and investments. Alongside this, you will work closely with experienced financial advisers, giving you exposure that can open up several potential career paths within financial services.

What you’ll be doing

• Speak with employees and individual clients about their financial circumstances and goals.
• Provide guidance across pensions, financial planning, protection and other areas of personal finance.
• Support clients with queries relating to their personal wealth and financial plans.
• Work closely with regulated financial advisers to ensure clients receive the right level of support.
• Assist advisers with diary management, client activity and related administration.
• Build your knowledge of pensions, taxation, investments, insurance and regulatory developments.
• Help make financial information easier for clients to understand and act on.
• Continue developing your professional and technical knowledge as your career progresses.

Is this you?

• You are a confident communicator who enjoys working with people and explaining information clearly.
• You have a third-level degree; financial services experience or knowledge would be an advantage.
• You are organised, numerate and interested in developing a long-term career in financial services, including potentially working towards the QFA.
