Our Client, a leading international construction/ engineering business, is looking for an Indirect Tax Consultant to join the growing team. This is a newly created role reflecting the continued international expansion of the business across Europe. The ideal candidate will provide specialist VAT and indirect tax support across Ireland and the wider EMEA region, ensuring compliance with applicable VAT legislation while identifying opportunities to improve tax processes, controls, and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Professional tax, accounting, finance, or equivalent qualification desirable.
• 3-7 years’ experience in indirect tax/VAT, preferably with significant Irish VAT exposure.
• Strong knowledge of Irish VAT legislation and practical VAT compliance.
• Experience with VAT across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
• Experience working with cross-border transactions and EU VAT rules.
• Experience supporting VAT audits and tax authority queries.
• Experience in an in-house tax function, Big Four/accounting firm, or specialist VAT advisory environment.
