Commercial Finance Manager
We are working with a growing, entrepreneurial business that helps ambitious companies across Ireland and the UK scale with confidence.
As the organisation continues to grow, it is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager who can take ownership of the finance function while playing an important role in the wider leadership, culture and governance of the business.
Reporting closely to the senior leadership team, you will work alongside the CEO, Operations, Sales and Commercial leadership to support sustainable growth.
You will take responsibility for ensuring the business has the financial discipline, visibility and information it needs to perform, while also contributing to people processes, governance and the continued development of the company culture.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the day-to-day finance function and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
- Delivering timely management accounts, reporting and meaningful commercial insight.
- Owning budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Managing cashflow and working capital visibility.
- Supporting the leadership team with financial analysis and decision-making.
- Improving visibility of business performance, profitability and key commercial drivers.
- Supporting audit, regulatory and statutory compliance requirements.
- Developing and improving financial processes, controls and reporting.
- Working closely with operational and commercial teams to understand business performance.
- Acting as a trusted first point of contact for people-related matters, supporting HR processes and employee relations.
Experience:
- A professional accounting qualification or equivalent level of experience.
- Strong management accounting experience.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Practical cashflow management experience.
- Experience with audit, statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to connect financial performance with operational performance.
- Experience working within an SME, entrepreneurial or growth-focused environment.
