Senior KYC & Client Onboarding Lead

A leading international financial services organisation is looking for an experienced KYC / Client Onboarding leader to head up a specialist team supporting a sophisticated institutional client base.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role with responsibility for delivering a premium onboarding service, managing complex KYC pipelines and driving continuous improvement across the function.

The opportunity

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of KYC and onboarding professionals
• Own the end-to-end onboarding pipeline, ensuring a fast, efficient and client-focused service
• Build strong relationships with senior clients and internal stakeholders across Compliance, Legal, Risk, Credit and Front Office
• Develop MI, dashboards and performance reporting for senior management
• Identify process and policy improvements and drive their implementation
• Manage escalations and ensure complex onboarding issues are resolved quickly
• Work within a specialist environment supporting international aviation and structured finance clients

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience across KYC, AML, client onboarding or due diligence
• Proven people leadership experience
• Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
• Comfortable presenting performance and issues to senior management
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• A genuine focus on client service and operational improvement
• Aviation, structured finance or financial services experience would be advantageous
