A rapidly growing global SaaS organisation is seeking to appoint a Revenue Accounting Manager to join its high-performing finance function.

This is a highly strategic and visible role sitting at the intersection of technical accounting, systems architecture, automation, and finance transformation. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and scaling the company’s Lead to Cash (L2C) operating model within a complex, international, recurring revenue environment.

This opportunity will suit someone coming from a Big 4 audit/accounting advisory background or a large-scale SaaS environment who enjoys building future-state finance processes rather than maintaining legacy structures.

The Revenue Accounting Manager will take ownership of the Lead to Cash finance lifecycle, ensuring revenue recognition, billing, cash, and margin outcomes are scalable, controlled, and system enabled.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the finance lead for the end-to-end Lead to Cash process
• Oversee revenue recognition, billing logic, deferred revenue, accounts receivable, and cash conversion
• Ensure accounting treatment aligns with IFRS 15 and commercial contract structures
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales Ops, Deal Desk, Legal, Billing, Credit Control, FP&A, and Systems teams
• Design and implement scalable, system-enabled revenue accounting processes
• Drive automation initiatives across reconciliations, controls, and reporting
• Reduce manual intervention and spreadsheet dependency
• Support the evolution toward a low-touch, exception-based operating model
• Partner closely with Systems and Data teams on revenue architecture and process optimisation
• Own revenue and Lead to Cash close processes
• Improve predictability, controls, and reporting accuracy

Experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA), typically with 5+ years PQE
• Background within Big 4 audit, accounting advisory, or a complex SaaS / recurring revenue environment
• Strong understanding of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition principles
• Experience within finance transformation, process redesign, or systems-enabled controls
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand how business models translate into revenue and cash outcomes
• Comfortable operating in a highly visible, change-oriented environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to influence across finance, systems, and commercial teams
