Our Client a leading firm

Overview

Our Client is entering a significant growth and transformation phase and is seeking to appoint a Senior Claims Manager to a newly established Managing General Agent business unit. This role will complement an already well established insurance brokerage and broader operations.

This is a senior, hands on leadership role with full technical ownership across claims operations including FNOL, recovery, third party intervention, repair and supplier management, injury claims, counter fraud and claims data. The position offers the opportunity to shape the claims culture and operating model from the ground up within a new MGA environment.

Damage and Supply Chain Management

Manage and optimise a nationwide repair and supplier network. Ensure efficient claims routing, quality assurance, cost containment and strong service delivery throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

Injury and Legal Claims Management

Oversee the injury and legal claims function including reserving, settlement strategy, litigation management and catastrophic losses. Manage relationships with legal partners while ensuring fair outcomes and cost control.

Counter Fraud, Data and Insights

Drive fraud prevention initiatives and leverage claims data to generate insight. Feed claims learnings back into underwriting and pricing to support improved risk selection and portfolio performance.

Customer Experience and Governance

Ensure a high standard of customer experience alongside full regulatory compliance. Build and lead a high performing claims team aligned to the broader strategic objectives of the business.
