Tax Compliance Analyst
About the Job
Our client, a leading international construction company, is seeking a Tax Compliance Analyst to join their rapidly growing Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented tax professional to support tax compliance and reporting across Ireland and international jurisdictions.
You will:
- Support Irish and international tax compliance, including VAT, corporation tax, payroll taxes, and withholding tax.
- Coordinate tax compliance for internationally mobile employees, including assignments, business travel, and payroll obligations.
- Liaise with Finance, HR, Payroll, and external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting.
- Monitor tax filing deadlines, maintain compliance calendars, and assist with tax reconciliations and reporting.
- Support payroll and social security compliance for international assignments, including A1 certificates and shadow payroll.
- Assist with business traveller compliance by tracking international travel and identifying potential tax and payroll risks.
- Prepare reports, maintain tax records, and support internal and external audits.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of tax processes, controls, and international mobility procedures.
Experience
- 2-4 years’ experience in international mobility, tax administration, payroll or finance.
- Experience working with internationally mobile employees and shadow payrolls.
- Knowledge of double taxation agreements and social security rules.
- Knowledge of Irish PAYE and Revenue requirements.
- Experience working with external tax advisors.
