Salary: €80,000 – €100,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Overview

Our client, a leading financial planning firm, is expanding its Galway presence with a key hire in Oranmore. This is a senior, office-based Financial Advisor role within a regulated financial planning environment, offering access to a strong existing client base alongside consistent walk-in and referral business.

You will operate in a client-facing, advisory capacity across protection, pensions, and investments, delivering holistic financial planning solutions with a particular focus on high-net-worth clients.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering tailored financial advice while managing and growing a portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide holistic financial planning advice across protection, pensions, investments, and wealth management
• Manage and develop an existing book of clients, delivering regular reviews and long-term planning strategies
• Convert walk-in and referred business into high-quality, compliant advice solutions
• Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, identifying complex planning opportunities
• Generate new business through referrals, personal network, and local presence
• Produce detailed suitability reports and ensure full compliance with Central Bank regulations
• Maintain accurate client records and CRM updates in line with regulatory standards
• Drive growth in assets under management and revenue while maintaining a client-first approach
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the financial planning function in Galway

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Financial Advisor in Ireland
• Strong experience across pensions, investments, and protection
• Proven track record working with high-net-worth or complex client cases
• QFA qualified (CFP or working towards is advantageous)
• Strong understanding of Central Bank compliance and Consumer Protection Code
• Commercially driven with the ability to generate and convert business
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and reporting capability
