An established and growing Dublin-based business is looking to hire a Finance Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function.

This is a hands-on role and would suit a Part-Qualified Accountant, Senior Accounts Assistant or experienced Bookkeeper who is ready to take the next step in their career.

The successful candidate will work closely with management and have responsibility for the day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day finance function
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Process supplier and customer invoices and payments
• Complete bank and account reconciliations
• Manage supplier and customer accounts and resolve queries
• Monitor outstanding invoices and support credit control
• Maintain accurate accounting records and the general ledger
• Assist with month-end and management accounts
• Prepare financial reports for management
• Support VAT, audit and year-end requirements
• Assist with cash-flow management and forecasting
• Work with external accountants and wider business teams
• Identify and improve finance processes and controls

About You

• Part-qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA, or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong experience across AP, AR and general accounting
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and double-entry accounting
• Experience using SAP or another ERP/accounting system would be beneficial
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with reconciliations and month-end processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach
