Operations & Settlements Analyst

Dublin | Hybrid (4 days in the office)

Salary: €35,000 – €45,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

A leading international financial services firm is seeking an Operations & Settlements Analyst to join its growing Dublin team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in investment banking or capital markets operations within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Working as part of a high-performing Operations team, you will gain exposure to a broad range of middle and back-office activities supporting global trading desks. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates with relevant financial services experience who are eager to expand their knowledge across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the settlement of equity and fixed income transactions.
• Manage trade matching, settlement exceptions and fails.
• Assist with cash and securities reconciliations.
• Support securities financing and collateral management activities.
• Process corporate actions and cash movements.
• Liaise with traders, custodians, counterparties and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
• Contribute to process improvements and support new business initiatives.
• Ensure operational risk, controls and regulatory standards are maintained at all times.

About You

• Previous experience in financial services operations, settlements, middle office or a similar environment.
• Experience with securities lending, derivatives or capital markets products is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A proactive, team-oriented individual with a genuine interest in financial markets and operations.
